Polycarbonate thickness

We were asked this question today by one of our customers in Blackpool.

Do you do 35mm polycarbonate? I've heard it's a lot better.

The answer is:- Yes! We have both systems here at Grand Design Conservatory Systems. 25mm and 35mm. The 35mm polycarbonate comes in the same colours as the 25mm, the difference being that the U values on the 35mm are a lot better than the 25mm (..ooh and its 10mm thicker!)

We have found that at the begining of the year 15% of the roofs were being specified with 35mm polycarbonate. Only 7 months later and 25% of the roofs being ordered with us are 35mm.

Furthermore, the amount of roof quotes with 35mm have nearly doubled.
